Jump Around

Jumpsuit: Asos // Shoes: H&M // Bag: Topshop (similar)

Josie Pattle in not-wearing-mom-jeans shocker.

So, yes, here I am, not wearing mom jeans for one minute of the day and as much as I love my denim pals, it felt nice to be wearing something a bit different.

I am totally in love with this amazing Asos jumpsuit. After pining for a pretty jumpsuit for ages, I finally spotted this kimono sleeve beauty the other day and immediately purchased it. At £48, it's a little more than what I'd usually pay for one going out piece, but I reckon this will go nicely in my holiday wardrobe too, so I'll let myself off as I WILL wear this one more than once! I'm such a fan of anything flowy; the wide leg, kimono sleeves and vertical stripes of this jumpsuit make it a flattering choice.

The clever cats at Asos paired the jumpsuit with some silver sliders in their model shot, and this provided the perfect inspiration; the splash of metallic just added that little somethin' extra, so I decided to pair my jumpsuit with a silver clutch I bought in a Topshop sale last year. I also donned my new chunky heels from H&M which go with pretty much ANYTHING and are the comfiest going out shoes I've ever owned!

You also may notice I've had a few more inches chopped off my hair! I had always wished for mermaid hair, but the maintenance of a lengthy mane got too much to handle. My hair is the least cooperative hair I've ever known, so styling it took way longer than I imagine it would for most people. With that, I took the plunge and I love my new midi bob already. So much less time spent styling which means more time for browsing on Asos in the evenings - WIN.

I'm sure I'll be back in my trusty mom jeans next week, but for now I will bask in the glory of my new lovely jumpsuit and will be dreaming of a holiday which I can take it on!

Some Favourite Photos

A few weeks ago, I spotted a blog post all about Square Snaps over on Salt and Chic and after getting my photos through and being so chuffed with them, I also had to dedicate a little blog post to the new photo printing site.

Square Snaps is an online photo printing facility which allows you to print square photos directly from Instagram. I immediately had to check them out as that alone sounded IDEAL and ended up buying 51 photos, and all for £9.99 with free delivery which was well worth it! They even come with a choice of either a white or black border to make them look like cool Polaroid snaps.

I completely adore taking photos and am always on the hunt for aesthetically pleasing flatlays, locations and clothes to snap. Some of my most treasured and proudest photos are stored on my Instagram and I'm completely guilty of not printing the ones that I love the most. Square Snaps definitely solves this dilemma as it is so easy to use, and the quality of the prints are amazing!

Just a short little ramble today, but it's definitely been fun to have a look through some of my favourite photos the oldschool way. So pleased that something like Square Snaps exists to we can print our lovely memories so easily!

Suede Jacket: Forever 21 (similar) // Top: Primark // Mom Jeans: Topshop // Sneakers: Topshop (similar) // Sunglasses & Rucksack: Primark

The Spring weather finally made an appearance today and it actually did feel a little warmer than usual. Well, that is until the sun popped back behind the clouds at about 4pm. Still! A few hours of sunshine are better than none!

Now the weather is picking up, I thought it time to bring out the lighter jackets, starting with my leather jacket last week, swiftly followed by this Forever 21 suede beaut. I bought it in the January sale, but have only worn it once since then, so I'm definitely excited to bring this jacket out of hibernation and into Spring. At around £22, it was one of the best bargains I've ever bought! Was pretty pleased with that sale find.

And surprise, surprise I'm back to Mom jeans again. I can't seem to stay out of them! I invested in yet another pair from Topshop last week and the light wash denim will certainly see me into Spring. I popped on these white sneakers and my favourite rucksack to complete my laid back look (my favourite kind of look, of course).

I really am enjoying my bargain suede jacket and am so looking forward to being able to wear it a bit more now the temperature is slightly rising. Hope you all have a fab weekend and enjoy the glimpses of Spring sunshine we're having!
